BRING IT HOME -- Senior Eric Borge rounds third base on his way to scoring during the first game of the Concordia-St. Paul doubleheader Monday. Borge went 6-for-8 in his final home doubleheader.

ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Senior shortstop Eric Borge (Mellette) went out like a champ Monday, going 6-for-8 in Northern State's final home games of the season and smashing a home run in his final home at-bat for the Wolves.

But Borge's efforts weren't enough, as Northern fell to Concordia-St. Paul 15-3 and 14-4 Monday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader at Fossum Field.

The Wolves (11-31 overall, 1-19 NSIC) dropped what was their fourth straight game to the Golden Bears (18-8, 10-6 NSIC), who also swept NSU Sunday in a doubleheader at Fossum.

Senior pitcher Ryan Albrecht (Aberdeen) took the loss in game one, while freshman Joe Dinger (Aberdeen) was tagged with the loss in the second game.

Northern travels to face Minnesota-Duluth May 4 and 5.
