JOPLIN, Mo. - Northern State defeated Mount Marty 6-4 to improve to 2-5 on the season. Jarod Olson pitched all seven inning for the Wolves giving up three earned runs on eight hits. The Wolves take on Southwest Missouri State tonight at 7:00 p.m.
Northern State held an early 2-1 lead before Missouri Southern scored seven runs in the bottom of the second inning on their way to a 16-4 win. The loss drops Northern State to 2-6 on the season. Missouri Southern out hit the Wolves 14 to 5 while the Wolves committed three errors in the game.
The Wolves will take on Pittsburg State in a double header on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburg, Kan.
