Pittsburg, Kan. - Northern State played there tenth game in under a week and it showed in their pitching staff as they were shelled 19-7 and 22-7 by Pittsburg State. The Wolves lost earlier in the week to the Gorillas by a 10-9 margin.

NSU's Charlie Woida went 3 for 4 in game one with two RBIs. Wes Fisbeck went 3 for 4 in game two with two runs scored and an RBI. Andrew Corre took the loss in game one as he went only one inning giving up nine runs on six hits to the 13 batters he faced. Matt Reich took the loss in game two as he went 4.2 innings, giving up 22 runs on 20 hits.

The Wolves are scheduled to take on Mount Marty on March 19th at 2:00 p.m. for doubleheader action in Yankton, S.D.
