The Wolves used four solid innings from Matt Paulson and three from Charlie Woida, combined with a three run fourth to get the win in game one. Paulson (2-3) when four inning giving up no runs on four hits and striking out two. Woida picked up his third save going the final three innings giving up one run on three hits.
Game two had the Tigers get out to a quick start as they took Matt Reich for four runs on four hits in the first. The Wolves countered with a run in the bottom of the first before Joe Dinger took the mount for the next four innings. Dinger gave up two runs on three hits. The Wolves added a pair of runs in both the fourth and seventh innings, but were not able to overcome the quick start of the Tigers.
The Wolves next game is set for Tuesday, April 19 th when Valley City State comes to town for a double dip starting at 2:00 p.m.
