MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TEAMS FARE WELL AT SEASON-OPENING MEET IN RAPID CITY

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The men's and women's cross-country teams fared well at the South Dakota Tech Invitational Saturday.

Sophomore Kristin Peterson (Arlington, S.D.) led the women's squad by finishing fifth overall with a time of 20 minutes, 50 seconds for the 5,000-meter course. On the men's side, sophomore Delbert Black Bear (White River, S.D.) finished ninth with a time of 28:21 on the 8,000 meter course.
