Northern
State's women's team finished second, while the men finished
fourth at the Roe Granger Invitational held at Lee Park Golf
Course in Aberdeen Friday. The University of Mary (Bismarck,
N.D.) finished first as a team in both meets.
NSU's
women were led by sophomore Kristin Peterson (Arlington, S.D.),
who finished third out of 53 runners with a time of 19 minutes,
32 seconds on the 5,000-meter course. Northern's men were
led by Delbert Black Bear (White River, S.D.), who finished
third out of 66 runners with a 26:34 time on the 8,000-meter
course.
