WOLVES FOOTBALL BACK IN FULL SWING

The Northern State football team is in full swing once again as 118 players reported to fall practice in preparation for the 2002 season.

The team has been participating in multiple practices each day this week and will do so until the end of next week. The team will suit up in full pads for the first time this afternoon.

The Wolves will take a day off of practice on Saturday to participate in the "Day of Champions" when they will work in conjunction with the United Way in volunteering in Aberdeen and surrounding communities.

Northern will hold their annual Picture Day at the practice field on August 24 that will be followed by a scrimmage. Another scrimmage will be held at Swisher Field on August 31 at 9:30 a.m.

NSU will play their first game on September 7 against Augustana in Sioux Falls and will host their home opener against St. Cloud State on September 14 at 7 p.m.
