TOBY KORRODI NAMED NSIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ABERDEEN, SD - Northern State quarterback Toby Korrodi (San Antonio, Tex.) was named as this week’s NSIC tri-Offensive Player of the Week.

Korrodi, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound redshirt freshman, completed 20-of-29 passes for the Wolves throwing for a career high 384 yards and three touchdowns in NSU’s 47-10 rout over Wayne State (Neb.) on Saturday. For the season, Korrodi has thrown for 1,310 yards and 14 touchdowns while earning a quarterback rating of 158.79, good for ninth in the nation.

Korrodi shares the award with Bemidji State’s Eddie Acosta and Minnesota, Crookston’s Luon Spearman while UMC’s Jay Schreiber and Concordia-St. Paul’s Joseph Mapson earned defensive and special teams honors for the week.

Northern State will take its 4-1, 2-0 NSIC record onto the field against Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday at Swisher Field in Aberdeen.
