ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State head golf coach Amanda Bain has announced the signing of three student-athletes to the 2006-07 team. Lexi Keckler (Eagle Butte, S.D.), Kylee Radloff (Casselton, S.D.), and Karissa Salwei (Aberdeen, S.D.) are the newest members of the Northern State golf team.
Lexi Keckler from Eagle Butte, S.D. golfed at Cheyenne Eagle Butte High School. While participating in golf, Keckler was a three-time state qualifier, finishing 13th in 2004 and 20th in 2005. Keckler also placed second in the Big Dakota Conference in 2005. Lexi is an superior student as she has been on the honor roll throughout her high school career.
Kylee Radloff from Casselton, N.D. played her high school golf at Central Cass. Radloff qualified for state four years and finished 9th in 2005. She was a member of the 2005 North Dakota Class B All-State Team. Radloff will be majoring in Marketing/Business Administration at Northern State University.
Karissa Salwei from Aberdeen, SD golfed at Central High School. Salwei is an excellent student as she has been on the Honor Roll and Student of the Month. Salwei was a state participant her junior and senior year, while golfing for the Golden Eagles.
“I am excited about this group of ladies coming to Northern. They will be a great addition for the foundation of the golf program. It will be exciting to see the ladies compete next fall," said Bain.
