Wolves Sign Three for 2006 Season

ABERDEEN, S.D. - Northern State head golf coach Amanda Bain has announced the signing of three student-athletes to the 2006-07 team. Lexi Keckler (Eagle Butte, S.D.), Kylee Radloff (Casselton, S.D.), and Karissa Salwei (Aberdeen, S.D.) are the newest members of the Northern State golf team. Full Story

WAYNE INVITE

Wayne State Invite saw three Northern State golfer participate, which made then ineligible for team standings. Krista Mergens finished with a 99, while Carin Rambow had a 106 and Maggie McGuire finished with a 112.

The Wolves had three golfer compete at Moccasin Creek Golf Course and did not qualify for a finished. Krista Mergens finished with a 108 on the day for the best Wolves score.

Dakota Wesleyan finished the day with a 311 while Upper Iowa finished second in the two team race witha 377. Abby Dewolf was the top medalist with a round of 73 on the day.

 

NSU/PC INVITE DAY 1 RESULTS

The NSU women's golf team finished three of four teams on day one of the NSU/PC Invite. Only thirteen holes were golfed due to darkness.  Wolves golfer Krista Mergans shot a 83.  Tessa Larson shot a 78, Maggie McGuire an 88, and Carin Ramow finished with a 90.  Dakota Wesleyan won the overall team.  Amanda Young won the individual from DWU with a score of 51.
