The Wolves went to Fargo and overwhelmed North Dakota State in the
second half to come away with a 79-65 win.
The Wolves fought back from an early deficit to take the lead going into halftime 33-31. In the second half, NSU took over physically and finished plays that weren't going down in the first half to dictate the game.
Sophomore guard Jared Miller (Mitchell, S.D.) led the way again with 21 points to go along with three assists and three steals. In all, five Wolves reached double digits in a balanced offensive effort. Senior forward Mark Rich (Aberdeen, S.D.) did not score, but grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and was a stalwart defensively, playing all but three minutes of the game.
Sophomore center Ben Dahl (Cottonwood, Minn.), still coming back from a recurring foot injury, took a positive step forward, scoring 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
