DAKOTA WESLEYAN POUNCES ON OUT-OF-SYNC WOLVES

Nov. 26, 2000

After putting up over 100 points in its two previous games, Northern State's offense went stagnant Sunday night in an 85-57 loss to Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, S.D.

The Wolves started off sluggish and were never able to get back into the game after falling behind 49-21 at the half. The only player to score in double digits for NSU was sophomore guard Nick Schroeder (Plymouth, Minn.), who netted 11 points. Junior post Brad Hansen (Tea) led the team in rebounding with seven boards to go with eight points. For the game, the team shot just 38 percent from the field.

NSU will try to regain its offensive explosiveness in preparation for the South Dakota State game, which is scheduled as a doubleheader Saturday in Wachs Arena. The women's game tips off at 6 p.m.
