Aberdeen, S.D. - Sophomore Adam Grant connected on all six three-point field goal attempts in Thursday's win over University of Minnesota-Duluth. Grant's perfect six of six from behind the stripe helped him secure a career-high 32 points.

The Wolves began the contest down 9-0. Northern eventually cut the Minnesota-Duluth lead to 31-28 going into the halftime intermission.

The Wolves came out in the second half gunning looking to erase the three point defecit. In the second half, NSU shot at a 53.8 accuracy from the field. At one point, the Northern mounted a 15-0 run with 13 of the points supplied by Grant. NSU reclaimed the lead with 10:30 remaining in the second half. Northern would not look back en route to their third straight NSIC victory.

Minnesota-Duluth was paced by Hudson Denny, Dusty Decker, and Sean Seaman all of which had 10 points on the evening. However, it was the tenacious Northern defense that helped slow the Bulldogs down in the second half. The Bulldogs shot a respectable 39.4 percent going into halftime, but under the pressure of the Northern's defense they were limited to only 27.3 percent in the second half.
