MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM ADVANCES TO NORTH CENTRAL
REGION TOURNAMENT IN DENVER
ABERDEEN, SD - With Northern State’s 63-58 win over
Minnesota-Duluth in the NSIC Tournament Championship game the
Wolves have earned an automatic bid to the North Central Regional
Tournament in Denver, CO. The Wolves will take on in-state rival
South Dakota State (SDSU) on Saturday, March 13th at 9:30 p.m.
(8:30 p.m. MT) in the Auraria Events Center. The Wolves will look
to avenge a 96-57 loss to the Jackrabbits back on December 6th
in Brookings, SD.
Advance first round tickets will be on sale at the
NSU Athletic Office on Wednesday, March 10th through Thursday,
March 11th from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A limited number of tickets will be available through
the NSU Athletic Department. More tickets will be avail-able at
the ticket window of the Auraria Event Center starting Friday,
March 12th from 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 13th
starting at 10:00 a.m. or by calling (303) 556 4874.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- $8.00 for Adults
- $4.00 for students (W/ proper I.D.)

The Wolves enter the tournament as the number five
seed with their 24-6 overall record. SDSU took the fourth seed
in the tournament with a 26-6 overall record on the season. Top
seeded Metropolitan State College of Denver will host the tournament
as they finished the season with a 28-2 mark.
