2004-05: Redshirted his freshman year... High School: Ratzsch attended Bloomington High School where he was a team captain, a Big 12 All-Conference selection, a member of the Panttagraph All-Area and Pontiac Holiday All-Tournament teams, an IBCA All-Star and an All-State Honorable Mention selection. He averaged 14.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 64.1% from the field and 47.6% from behind the arc. The 6’7, 185 pound forward also swatted 59 blocks.
