Freshman pitcher Carin Rambow (Litchfield, Minn.) pitched a five-hit shutout to lead the Wolves to a 9-0 win over University of Minnesota-Crookston during the first game in the University of Minnesota-Morris NSIC Crossover Saturday.

NSU's bats also came to life in the game, as the Wolves pounded out 13 hits. Senior shorstop Dana Jesnowski (Evansville, Minn.) went 3-for-3 on the day with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored. Freshman third baseman Kacie Weatherly (Pipestone, Minn.) was also huge at the plate, hitting two doubles in a 2-for-4 outing at the plate to drive in three runs.
