Northern State's offense put up an eight-run inning and two six-run innings in a 21-3 blowout over University of Minnesota-Morris Saturday at the Cougars' NSIC Crossover held in Morris Saturday.

As a team, the Wolves batted 23-of-34 on the game (.677). Sophomore outfielder Elisa LaFrance (Spearfish) did as well as anyone at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI. Freshman pitcher Lindsey Lewis (Black Hawk) got the win on the mound, pitching a four-hitter in the 10-run-rule-shortened five-inning affair.
