Pittsburg , Kan. -Pittsburg, Kan. – Northern State Softball dropped to 0-4 on the season as they lost both games of a double-header to Pittsburg State. The Wolves lost game one 4-11 and game two 1-6.
In game one Christie Schulte picked up her second loss of the season as she went 3.2 innings giving up 11 runs on 14 hits. Audrey Decker came in relief and pitched 2.1 inning of shutout ball, giving up one two walks.
Emily Howlett led the Wolves offensive attack gathering two hits and a RBI in four at bats.
Game two saw Lisa Koehler pitching all six innings for the Wolves, giving up six runs on nine hits (four earned runs). Emily Howlett again led the Wolves as she end 3 for 3 with an RBI.
