ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State sweep Hub City rival Presentation College by the scores of 8-0 (5 innings) and 11-5. The Wolves’ Lisa Koehler pitched a three hit shutout in game one as the Wolves improve to 11-25 on the season.

The Wolves used three runs on the first, one in the third and three in the fourth to end the first game after five innings at 8-0. The Wolves racked up 12 hits, three of which came from senior Angie Olson. Olson was 3 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI in game one. Emily Howlett was also a perfect 3 for 3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Lisa Koehler and Tara Schumacher also collected a multiple hit game as they went 2 for 3.

Koehler faced 18 batters, struck out six and walked only one as she earned her second shut out in three games.

The Wolves trailed the Saints 4-3 after an inning and a half of play, but five runs in the bottom half of the second put the Wolves up to stay. They added to their 8-4 lead with a three run fourth as they went on to win 11-5.

Tara Schumacher went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored. Audrey Decker was on the mound and gave up four earned runs off 10 hits.

The Wolves take on MSU Moorhead on Thursday, April 28 th at 3:00 p.m. in Moorhead, Minn.
