Wolves make it Five in a Row as the Sweep Presentation College  

Aberdeen, S.D. - The Northern State Wolves (10-12, 2-0 NSIC) make it five in a row as they swept cross town rival Presentation College Saints (0-10) in a double header at Manor Park.

Game 1  

In the first game the Wolves jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the game and never looked back as they defeated the Saints 8-0. the Wolves got three hits from Heather Olson (Fr., 3B, Rosemount, Minn.) and two hits apiece from Natalie Simar (Fr., OF, Turner, Ore), Luciola Figueroa (Sr., C., Puerto Rico), and Sara Lipetsky (Jr., IF, Sioux Falls, S.D.). Figureroa had two triples, two runs scored and a run batted-in in the game.

Lisa Koehler (Sr., P., Waconia, Minn) pitched a complete game for the Wolves as she only gave up two hits and struck out five. Koehler improved to 5-5 on the year with the win.

Game 2

In Game 2 the Wolves would fall behind early 5-2 in the first inning. But they would ralley to defeat the Saints 16-8.
