Wolves Lose Two More at Cross-Over

BEMIDJI , Minn. - Northern State (12-28, 3-11) lost two more on the second day of the crossover held in Bemidji, Minn. In the first game the Wolves lost to the Warriors of Winona State by a score of 1-9, and in the second game the Wildcats of Wayne State College got the victory over the Wolves by a score of 5-2.

In the first game the Wolves were led by Zomarie Lozano as she went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Lisa Koehler game up 10 hits and nine runs while striking out two in 5 1/3 innings of work.

The Warrios were led by Halron as she went 3 for 4 with three RBI's and two runs scored in the game. The Wolves are 0-2 against the Warriors this year.

In game two the Wolves only got six hit in their 5-2 loss to the Wayne State Wildcats. The Wolves were led by Tara Schumacher and Jenna Drey as they both went 2 for 2 with a run scored in the game. Christi Schulte went three innings and Audrey Decker went four for the Wolves. They combined giving up eleven hits, five runs, while striking out three in the game.

The Wildcats were led by Parks as she went 2 for 4 with two RBI's and a run scored in the game. They also got a strong pitching performance from Hain as she went the complete game giving up six hits, while striking out one in the game.

The Wolves will be in action on Tuesday April 25th when they take on Dakota State in Aberdeen, S.D. The games will be played at 3:00 and 5:00 pm.
