Kira Wannebo attended Archbishop McCarthy High School where she was a teammate with current NSU goalkeeper Thersa Alexander. Wannebo can play in any position as she played attacking midfield and striker in high school and defensive C/M for her club team.  She was also a member of the All-Broward County team for her outstanding play
