High School: DeVaney is a 2006 graduate from Aberdeen Central High School. She was a three time letterwinner in soccer as well as a captain her senior year. She was selected as All-State Academic student-athlete. Aside from soccer, DeVaney was also a three time letterwinner in basketball, where she was also named All-State Academic.

Her parents are Jeff and Stacey.
