Wayne State upsets the Wolves
Aberdeen, SD- Northern State (12-4-2, 7-4-2 NSIC) fell to Wayne State (8-8-2, 6-5-2) 1-0 on senior day.
The Wolves out shot the Wildcats 15 to 9 and 9 to 6 in shots on goal, but could not manage a single goal. Melissa Benson scored the only goal of the game at the 38:37 mark for the Wildcats.
Northern State will be in action on October 29 th as they travel to Moorhead, MN to take on the MSU Moorhead Dragons. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
