Dragons burn Wolves in Season Finale'
Moorhead, Minn. - Northern State (12-5-2, 7-5-2 NSIC) lost their last regular season game to MSU Moorhead (5-14-1, 3-10-1 NSIC) 0-1. The Wolves were out shot by the Dragons 10 to 9 and only had 4 shots on goal compared to the Dragons 6.
MSU Moorhead scored the only goal of the game in the first half as Maureen Ross put one in the back of the net off of a Mandy Anderson assist. Northern State finished third in the conference behind Winona State and Bemidji State.
Northern State will host a first round NSIC tournament game against Concordia St. Paul on November 1 st at 2:00 pm.
