Golden Bears Own Goal Difference in NSIC Tournament First Round

Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State (13-5-2, 7-5-2 NSIC) outplayed Concordia St. Paul (5-13-2, 4-8-2) the entire match, out shooting them 11 to 2 in shots on goal, but the only shot to go in was a crossing pass that a Concordia defender accidentally kicked into their own goal, giving Northern State the 1-0 victory in the first round of the NSIC Soccer Tournament.

The Wolves pelted 21 shots at the Golden Bear net, with 11 being on goal. The Golden Bears had seven shots, two on goal as there season ends.

Northern State improves to 3-5 all-time in first round tournament games as they will go on to face Bemidji State on Saturday, Nov. 5th in the tournament semifinals. Place and time to be determined later today. The Wolves are 0-2 in NSIC Tournament semi-final games.
