EHRICH, ARNOLD CROWNED NSIC CHAMPIONS

Bemidji, Minn.: Northern State's Micah Arnold and LeAnne Ehrich were crowned as NSIC champions this past weekend at the NSIC Championships held in Bemidji, Minn.

Arnold claimed first place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.58 while also winning the 55 meter hurdles with a 7.85 first place time. Micah also earned a third place finish in the 55 meter dash (.6.62).

Ehrich captured the NSIC crown in the shot put with a throw of 43-10.5 and also placed fifth in the weight throw (51-9.25).

WOMEN'S NOTES:

-Kristin Peterson finished second in both the one mile and 5000 meter runs.

-Christi Lucas finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.33.

-Freshman Katie Anderson finished fourth in the 55 meter hurdles.

-Lisa Charboneau took second in the pole vault (10-0).

- The NSU women finished fifth in the team standings.

MEN'S NOTES:

-Garrett Pfitzer made a throw of 47-11.25 in the shot put, for a third place finish.

-Nick White took fourth place in the 5000 meter run.

-Jake Luger finished fifth in the triple jump (45-0.25).

-Ross Sandine came in fifth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.46.

- The Northern State men finished fifth in the team standings.
