North Dakota defeated Northern State 16-14, 12-15, 15-8, 12-15, 15-11 Wednesday at the Hyslop Sports Center in Grand Forks, N.D.

During the match, junior setter Tricia Schilling (Valley City, N.D.) became just the 10th player in NSU history to record 1,000 digs. Schilling also ranks second on the all-time assists list at NSU and added 35 assists to her career list Wednesday night.

Senior outside hitter Alana Kiehn (Carlton, Minn.) recorded her fifth double-double of the season, recording 10 kills and 19 digs. Senior middle blocker Jean Kringstad (Aberdeen) also tallied 10 kills to go with six blocks on the night.
