Despite coming up big at the net, Northern State fell at Wayne State 15-10, 13-15, 15-11, 15-10 Tuesday.

Senior middle blocker Jean Kringstad (Aberdeen) led the way, racking up 12 total blocks (2 solo, 10 assist) to go with her team-high 14 kills on the night. Fellow senior Alana Kiehn (Carlon, Minn.) recorded her seventh double-double of the season, with 11 kills and 21 digs. Freshman outside hitter Stephanie Tschetter (Huron) also had her seventh double-double of the year with 10 kills and 20 digs. Junior setter and reigning NSIC Player of the Week Tricia Schilling (Valley City, N.D.) dished out 47 assists to go with 18 digs and nine kills for NSU (9-18 overall, 7-8 NSIC).

The Wolves have the rest of the week off.
