Northern State defeated Winona State in a five-match marathon Friday 12-15, 15-8, 14-16, 15-8, 15-8 in Winona.

The Wolves were led by senior middle blocker Jean Kringstad (Aberdeen), who pounded out 20 kills. She ended the match needing just two kills to move past former teammate Jessica Johnson into second on NSU's all-time kills list. Junior outside hitter Michelle Wiswell (Lead) added 19 kills and six blocks for the Wolves. Junior setter Tricia Schilling (Valley City, N.D.) doled out 51 assists to go with 13 digs.
