A day after a tough loss at Minnesota-Duluth, Northern State came up big at Bemidji State, blanking the Beavers 3-0 (30-18, 30-25, 30-27).

The Wolves were led by junior outside hitter Kim Heny (Powell, Wyo.), who pounded out a match-high 20 kills to go with a match-high 18 digs. Heny didn't record one attacking error on the night and finished with a .667 hitting percentage. Junior outside hitter Stephanie Tschetter (Huron, S.D.) chipped in 10 kills. The Beavers were led by Nicole McDougall's 15 kills and six blocks.

NSU (8-6 overall, 2-1 NSIC) will travel to Southwest State Tuesday, Sept. 25 before hosting Minnesota-Crookston Sunday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. in a rescheduled match.
