WOLVES HAVE LITTLE TROUBLE
WITH CROOKSTON

Northern
State got back to its winning ways Sunday night in Aberdeen
with a 3-0 win over Minnesota-Crookston (30-14, 30-20, 30-27).
The Golden
Eagles put up a good effort in the third game, but Northern
rallied from a 25-27 deficit to end the match.
NSU was
led by junior outside hitter Stephanie Tschetter (Huron, S.D.),
who blasted nine kills. Junior middle blocker Christi Lucas
(White, S.D.) wasn't far behind with eight kills on a .412
hitting clip. Defensively, junior Elisa LaFrance (Spearfish,
S.D.) led the way with nine digs. As a team, the Wolves hit
.248 on the night while holding Crookston to a paltry .026.
The win
improved Northern's record to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the NSIC.
