SURVIVE FIVE-GAME TEST AT WINONA

Northern
State let down after winning its first two games on the road
but recovered in time for a five-game victory Friday night
at Winona State (30-27, 30-21, 27-30, 26-30, 15-8).
With the
win, NSU (18-11, 11-6 NSIC) equaled its overall win count
from a season ago and could better the mark tomorrow night
in the season finale at Concordia-St. Paul.
Senior
middle blocker Shanna Dahl (St. Cloud, Minn.) tallied three
blocks at the net, making her just two shy of moving into
fourth on NSU's career total blocks list. Dahl also tallied
13 kills on a .324 hitting clip for the night. Junior middle
blocker Christi Lucas (White) led the team in kills with 17
on a .429 hitting clip. Sophomore setter Tara Sauter (Belle
Plaine, Minn.) ended with a whopping 52 assists and 15 digs.
Winona State (7-24, overall, 4-13 NSIC) was led by Lisa Schlaak's
19 kills and 27 digs.
