NAIA TOP RANKED NATIONAL AMERICAN SWEEPS WOLVES

BROOKINGS, SD - NAIA national power and top-ranked National American University handed Northern State a 3-0 loss (30-25, 30-23, 30-16) Friday in Brookings.

NAU hit .260 as a team and collected nine blocks as a team while NSU hit .132 and had just one block in a match that lasted just 1 hour and seven minutes.

Alison Dehmer was the only Wolf in double-figure kills with 11 while Kari LaFrance added 11 digs for Northern.

The Wolves allowed 17 NAU service aces on the game compared to their own total of five.

With the loss, NSU drops to 2-4 on the year and will face North Dakota Friday at 3 p.m.
