STATE SPOILS NSU ROAD TRIP
BEMIDJI,
MINN. - The Northern State volleyball team suffered its second
NSIC loss of the season as Bemidji State upended the Wolves
3-1 on Friday night in Northern Minnesota.
The
Beavers took the first two games 30-26, 30-22 before Northern
could steal game three 30-20. Bemidji State then put the match
away 30-19 in the fourth game.
NSU
hit just .119 on the day as a team while Renae Sparling and
Jessica Bates posted 11 kills each to lead the Wolf offense.
Monica Inge posted a team high 15 digs while sophomore Laura
Nelson had five blocks for Northern State.
The
loss drops NSU to 6-10, 2-2 NSIC with a match at Minnesota,
Crookston awaiting the Wolves on Saturday.
