CROOKSTON UPSETS NORTHERN VOLLEYBALL SQUAD

CROOKSTON, MINN. - Northern State returned home from its Northern Minnesota road trip winless after a 3-1 loss to Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles upset the Wolves 30-25, 30-25, 26-30, 30-27 to earn their first NSIC win of the year.

NSU's Jessica Bates paced the Wolves offense with 19 kills while Renae Sparling contributed ten on the day.

With 35 set assists, Tara Sauter moved into third place on the all-time assists chart with 2,615 in her career.

Monica Inge led Northern with 22 digs as Bates and Chelsey Deibert each added four blocks.

NSU (6-11, 2-3 NSIC) will play at Concordia-St. Paul on Friday night.
