NSU SLIPS BY EAGLES IN FOUR GAMES

Aberdeen, S.D. - Sophomores Renae Sparling and Chelsey Deibert each pounded 14 kills while the Wolves hit .220 as a team en route to a 3-1 win over Minnesota, Crookston on Tuesday night in Wachs Arena.

The Wolves fell behind after dropping game one 30-26 but rebounded to collect wins in the next three games 30-21, 30-23 and 30-26.

On the match, Deibert connected on a career high .448 (14-1-29) hitting percentage while adding two seven digs and two blocks on the night, as well.

Monica Inge paced NSU with 24 digs with Sparling and Tara Sauter earning 16 and 11 digs, respectively.

Laura Nelson led the Wolves in blocking increasing her team high stuffs to 96 on the year with five on the evening.

Northern State improves to 11-16 on the season while advancing to 5-8 in league play. The Wolves host Winona State on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Wachs Arena.
