NSU VOLLEYBALL ADDS TRANSFER FROM ST. BENEDICT

ABERDEEN, SD - The Northern State University volleyball program has announced that Angie Aadahl will transfer to NSU and play volleyball with the Wolves after a two-year stint at the College of St. Benedict in Collegeville, Minn.

Aadahl, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter originally from Elysian, Minn., posted 123 kills and a .184 hitting percentage in 2003 with the Blazers while playing in 73 games as a sophomore. Prior to coming to CSB, Aadahl played volleyball for four years at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School and was named as her team’s most valuable player.

“Angie is very athletic and has great court presence,” commented NSU assistant coach Craig Case. “She communicates well with her teammates and should be a very positive addition to our team.”

NSU begins its season on August 29 in the North Dakota State Tournament in Fargo, N.D.
