DEIBERT EARNS CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

Minneapolis, Minn. - Northern State sophomore middle blocker Chelsey Deibert (Aberdeen, S.D.) has earned this week’s NSIC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week award.

Deibert led the Northern State defense coming up with 17 blocks (1.55 b/g) and 22 digs (2.00 d/g) in three matches for the Wolves in a 2-1 week for Northern State. Deibert also posted 23 kills and three service aces last week as well. On the season, Deibert ranks third on the team in kills and blocks and second in aces.

Northern State will face Bemidji State on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Wachs Arena in Aberdeen.
