Chelsey Deibert Collected a Double-Double against SMSU
Aberdeen, S.D. -Chelsey Deibert was a bright spot in the Wolves offense as she racked up a double- double in the Wolves 0-3 loss to Southwest Minnesota State. Deibert had 11 kills, 10 digs and five service aces in the match.
The Wolves fell behind in game one and trailed throughout losing 30-20. Game two and three had the Wolves losing 26-30. The Wolves were more completive in games two and three as they held a 9-5 lead early in game three but had the Stangs go on a 9-0 run to take the game and the match.
The Wolves struggled hitting again as they finished the game with a .094 hitting percentage (31K-19E-128TA). The Mustangs did not hit particularly well either as they finished with a .182 hitting percentage (48K-22E-143TA). The Stangs did record 12 service aces in the match to the Wolves six. Service errors were aplenty as the Wolves has eight and the Stangs ten.
The Wolves host South Dakota on Tuesday, September 21 at the Barnett Center at 7:00 p.m.
