MOORHEAD, Minn. -The Wolves did everything right except get the win Friday night against #21 MSU Moorhead as they fell in three games 30-27, 30-26, 30-28. The Wolves fall to 4-16, 1-6 while the Dragons improve to 19-2, 6-1.

The Wolves out-hit and out-blocked the Dragons on the night, but were unable to get the final points down the stretch to win a game. The Wolves hit .318 to the Dragons .220 and had five blocks to the Dragons three.

The Wolves had their best hitting night of the year as they finished with a .318 hitting percentage (42K-8E-107TA). The eight errors are the lowest hit by the Wolves in a match this season. Senior Tara Engquist (Oakes, N.D.) had her best night hitting as she hit .640 with 16 kills, no errors on 25 attempts. Chelsey Deibert (Jr., Aberdeen, S.D.) had 11 kills, an error on 27 attempts to hit .370 on in the match.

The Wolves travel to St. Cloud State on Thursday, October 4 th then return home to face MSU Moorhead again on Saturday, October 16 th at 5:00 p.m.
