Wolves Win Fifth in a Row

Bemidji, Minn. - Northern State (6-5, 2-0 NSIC) picked up its fifth win in a row as they defeated Bemidji State in four games. The Wolves lost game one 26-30, but rebounded to win the final three game 30-17, 30-22, 30-23 as they improve to 2-0 in the NSIC. Bemidji State falls to 1-14 overall and 0-2 in the NSIC.

The Wolves had their second game in a row where they had 12 blocks. Chelsey Deibert and Odemaris Diaz both had five block assists in the match. Angie Aadahl had 19 kills in the match to go with 8 digs. Kellie Heier picked up another triple double as she had ten kills, 42 kill assists and 18 digs. Luciola Figueroa added 16 kills and 13 digs as well.

The Wolves hit .231 (60K-23E-160TA) compared to .087 (56K-39E-195TA) for the Beavers. The Wolves also took advantage of 10 service errors by the Beavers in the match.

The Wolves return home next weekend when they host Wayne State on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and SW Minnesota State on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
