Wolves Defeat Bemidji State in Three
Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State (11-9, 4-4) knocked off Bemidji State (2-23, 0-8) in three games 30-22, 30-27, 30-27. Chelsey Deibert led all players with 14 kills in the match, while Odemaris Diaz was second on the team with 11 kills.
The Wolves took advantage of a poor hitting hit night for the Beavers as Bemidji State hit only .088 (39K-24E-170TA) in the night, including five service errors. The Wolves had eight service errors themselves and 28 attack errors but had 56 kills in the match. The Wolves hit .147 in the match (56K-28E-191TA). Kellie Heier was three kills away from her third triple double of the season as she had seven kills, 18 digs and 46 kill assists.
The Wolves host Minnesota, Crookston tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 p.m. and Dickinson State on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
