Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State (14-13, 6-7 NSIC) defeated Winona State (15-15, 4-9 NSIC) in four game by the scores of 30-18, 30-32, 30-25, 30-25 in conference play.
The Wolves were again without Odemaris Diaz but had another Si Tanka transfer step up as Luciola Figueroa had a match high 17 kills while hitting .441 in the match (17K-2E-34TA). She also had 19 digs and two block assists. Chelsey Deibert was second on the team with 16 kills and five block assists. Kelsey Aden had 11 kills while Angie Aadahl had ten of her own. Aden had six block assists and Aadahl had 17 digs.
The Wolves out hit the Warriors in the match .223 (64K-22E-188TA) to .105 (65K-42E-219TA). The Warriors 42 hitting errors end up being the difference in the match.
The Wolves take on St. Cloud State on Nov. 1 st at 7:00 p.m. before returning home to finish out the regular season against MSU Moorhead on Nov. 4 th at 7:00 p.m.
