Northern State let a 44-29 halftime advantage turn into a 92-85 double-overtime loss Tuesday in Bismarck, N.D. against the University of Mary.
Again, rebounding seemed to be the main factor in the loss, as the Marauders outboarded the Wolves 54-42. The second straight loss marked the first time since the 1995-96 season the Wolves have dropped two straight.
Junior guard Jammie Coyle (Belle Fourche, S.D.) led the Wolves with 24 points, while senior center Crystal Bonnichsen (Highmore, S.D.) led in rebounding with 12 boards.
Mary's Lisa Maus led all scorers with 29 points. Jen Lunde and Jolene
Gartner ripped down 15 boards apiece.
