WOLVES DROP THIRD STRAIGHT, FALLING TO JAMESTOWN 68-65

December 1, 1998

For the first time since the 1988-89 season, Northern State's women's basketball team has dropped three straight games. Jamestown College defeated NSU 68-65 in Jamestown Tuesday night.

NSU led 38-35 at half, but just couldn't get anything to fall in the second half, shooting 30 percent from the field. That coupled with another sub-par night on the boards (the Wolves were outrebounded 41-35) were big factors in the loss.

Junior guard Jammie Coyle (Belle Fourche, S.D.) again led the Wolves in scoring with 25 points, followed by fellow junior backcourt mate Amanda Mikuska (Platte, S.D.), who netted 19. Coyle also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and two steals.
