WOLVES STREAK ENDS AT FOUR WITH 80-70 LOSS TO GOLDEN BEARS

Aberdeen, S.D. -- The Northern State women's four-game winning streak was stopped on Saturday night with a 80-70 loss in Wachs Arena.

Northern kept the game tied at 16 with 10:20 remaining in the first before Concordia would outscore the Wolves 28-19 in the rest of the period.

The Bears extended their lead to 17 with 5:45 to play when Northern made one last run that would fall ten points short to give CSP the 80-70 victory.

Northern's Michelle Hanson scored a career high 17 points to lead the Wolves scoring attack. Amber Powell added 11 on the night for NSU.

Jessi Mostad finished with nine points and a team high seven boards on the night.

Concordia's Lisa Harfield led the way for the Bears with 22 points and 12 rebounds on the night.
