WOLVES EARN LARGEST VICTORY OF SEASON IN 96-42 ROUT OVER MINNESOTA, MORRIS

Morris, Minn. -- Northern State's Shana Theobald and Jessi Mostad each recorded double-double's in the Wolves 96-42 rout over the Univeristy of Minnesota, Morris on Friday night.

The Wolves held a 26-4 lead before extending it to 48-13 by halftime. NSU then finished the game on a 14-0 run to close out the contest with the 96-42 victory.

Ali Chmielewski pace the Wolves in scoring with a career high 17 points while Shana Theobald (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Jessi Mostad (10 points, 12 rebounds) each tallied their first double-doubles of their careers.

Northern shot over 47 percent from the floor on the night including a 10-for-21 performance from three-point range.

The Wolves also posted a season high 68 rebounds on the evening including 22 offensive boards.

Minnesota, Morris shot just 23 percent from the floor on the night and was a dismal 6-of-41 (.146) from three-point range. The Wolves held UMM to just 34 rebounds on the night as well.

Northern State will play a first round road game next Wednesday in the NSIC tournament against an opponent yet to be determined.
