WOLVES LOOK SHARP IN HOME OPENER

ABERDEEN, SD - The Northern State women were in mid-season form in a 88-48 blowout over Jamestown College on Tuesday night in the Barnett Center.

The Wolves jumped out to a 13-point halftime lead and outscored the Jimmies 28-5 in the first ten minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach.

NSU freshman Carolin Becker paced the home team offensively with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting while senior forward Amanda Mollman ripped down a career high 12 rebounds to lead the squad.

Michelle Hanson and Carin Rambow chipped in 15 and 12 points, respectively to round out the Wolves in double-figures.

The Wolves shot 50 percent on the night while holding the Jimmies to just a 30 percent night. JC also struggled from the charity stripe hitting just 12-of-25 (.480) on the evening.

Northern State (2-1) will travel to the UNK Thanksgiving Tournament where they will face Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday and Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday.
