Marshall, Minn. – The Wolves had six players score in double figures as they rolled past Upper Iowa 96-60 on day two of the SMSU / Bancorp Classic. The Wolves shot a season high 57.6% (38-66) and scored a season high 96 points.
The Wolves started the game on a 8-0 run and continued to pour it on as they opened up a 29-2 lead halfway through the first half. The Wolves never looked back as they rolled up a 53-23 halftime lead on their way to there fourth win of the season. The Wolves scored 31 points off 24 Peacock turnovers in the game.
Noelle Hall (Fr., C, Altura, Minn.) led the way again for the Wolves as she dropped in 14 points in 15 minutes of play. Michelle Hanson (Sr., F/C, Fargo, N.D.) scored was a perfect 5 for 5 from the field for 12 points, while Carolin Becker (So., F, Beulah, N.D.) and Liza Sizer (Sr., G, Miller, S.D.) added 11, while Miranda Boepple (So., F, Dickinson, N.D.) and Melissa Braaten (So., G/F, Stillwater, Minn.) scored ten of their own.
